ATB Anlagen Technik Bielefeld

Manufacturing of machinery and equipment parts and processing of semi-finished products of carbon steel, stainless steel and plastics for individual parts, prototypes, custom-made and series or complete assemblies with and without assembly. In cooperation with ATA Anlagentechnik Aschersleben, we manufacture Welded construction with unit weights of up to 180 t.

SIMMI

Safe multi-layer welding with industrial robots

Project period: 1 January 2025 – 30 June 2027

The SIMMI project aims to research technologies and processes for increasing process and plant safety in arc welding of multi-layer welded joints on large components. The objectives are to develop a welding process control system to prevent welding errors and to create a flexible workspace safety system.

LATEST INNOVATIONS.

Industrial robots have been firmly established in value-adding production for many years. Robots have become indispensable in large-scale series production, e.g. in the welding of car body assemblies in the automotive industry.

The INTAS joint project is researching new technologies and processes for the flexible machining of large workpieces with variable geometries. Together with Fraunhofer IFF Magdeburg, we are working on the development of an intuitive assistance robot that can perform a wide variety of tasks on large components thanks to its simple handling and programming.
